طريقة رفع الصور على البروفايل بالفيس بوك بجودة عالية جدا!

كما هو معروف فعند رفع الصور على حسابك بالفيس بوك أو بالأحر صور البروفايل الخاصة بك فغالبا ما تلاحظ أن الصورة التي قمت برفعها تتقلص جودتها و تصبح صورة ضعيفة جدا من حيث الجودة ، طبعا هذا الأمر تتعمده فيس بوك من أجل ضغط الصور و لكي تظهر لجميع المستخدمين بمختلف جودة الانترنت الذين يتوفرون عليها.

اليوم و في هذه التدوينة سوف أشارككم طريقة رفع صور البروفايل الخاصة بك على الفيس بوك و بجدوتها الأصلية اي لا يتم التقليص من جدودتها ، اذن كل ما عليك هو الذهاب الى قسم الصور على حسابك الخاص ثم تقوم بانشاء ألبوم جديد و تختار الصورة التي تود رفعها كصورة للبروفايل و بجودة عالية كما هو مبين في الصورة.

بعد ذلك ستعمل على تسمية الألبوم بـ ' Profile Pictures ' بحيث أن هذا الألبوم يمكنك استعماله في كل مرة تود فيها رفع صورة جديدة و جعلها كصورة بروفايل على حسابك بالفيس بوك أيضا تأكد من أن تفعيل خاصية High Quality لكي يتم رفع الصورة بجودة عالية .. و كاضافة مهمة قم بجعل هذا الألبوم خاص و ذلك بتغير أخر خيار الى ' Only Me ' كما هو موضح في الصورة التالية:

بعد رفع الصورة أنقر على Post ثم توجه الى الألبوم و أنقر على رمز القلم و اختر Make Profile Picture كي تجعل تلك الصورة كصورة للبروفايل الخاص بك .. بعد ذلك يتوجب عليك التعديل على أبعاد الصورة و لك ان تختار الأبعاد على حسب اختيارك أنت فقط لا تقوم بعمل zoom أكثر من اللازم كي لا تفتقد الصورة لجودتها.

بعد ذلك قم بحفظ الصورة و سيتم رفع هذه الأخيرة على البروفايل الخاص بك فقط كل ما عليك هو انتظار عملية استكمال الرفع و مبروك عليك فسيتم رفع الصورة بجودة عالية و دون التقليص من جودتها و على سبيل المثال و كما تشاهدون في هذه الصورة التي سبق و أن أخدتها أنا وائل سليمي مع رغيب أمين فهي واضحة جدا بالمقارنة مع الصورة التي سبق و قمت برفعها على نفس الحساب بشكل مباشر كما أنه فقد كانت النتيجة كارتية و بجودة ضعيفة جدا !

السلام عليكم

مقالتي هذا الأسبوع تدخل في موضوع أخر غير موضوع الكهرباء (الذي وجدت نفسي أبحر فيه دون حدود)، التسوق الإلكتروني. مع مراعاة أنها تمثل رأيي الخاص والشخصي المحدود بكمية المعلومات المتوفرة لدي، وهو قابل للتعديل حسب مايصلني من مستجدات!

كليبيين نحن محرومون من الكثير من التنوع التجاري بسبب عدم دعم نظامنا المصرفي لبطاقات الإئتمان، وعدم وجود وسيلة شحن ملائمة، مايعني أن السوق في ليبيا (خوذ ولا خلي).

• تنوع البضاعة الهائل لايعني شيئا، فهي مجرد صور! لشرائها يعني أن يكون لديك بطاقة إئتمان! وعنوان شحن! وطبعا عملة صعبة لتشتري بها D:
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• موقع Paypal الشهير لايدعم ليبيا، ولايفكر حتى في ذلك، من المعروف أنه طريقة للشراء منE-bay وبالتالي نحن من ذلك محرومون! 
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
   
• شركات الشحن ليس عادلة! وتفرض تكاليف باهظة في الشحن وطريقة حسابها مستفزة وغير عادلة نهائياًَ !!

لنفترض أنك إشتريت وصلة USB ثمنها خمس دولارات٫ سيكلفك شحنها 28 دينار ليبي!! كيف!؟

لأن وزنها نصف كيلو! هذا حسب الشركة المصون(أي وزن تحت النصف كيلو جرام يساوي نصف كيلو جرام، وأي وزن فوق النصف كيلو ولو بجرام يساوي كيلو جرام كامل!) فتضطر متحسرا لشراء أغراض لاتحتاجها، حتى يصبح ثمن الشحن مقبولا!

ثم يزيد الوزن فجأة (وصلة ال USB ) إياها! تصير كيلو جرامين في الشحن! كيف حصل هذا؟

ستدفع ثمن كيلو جرام ونصف في مقابل وصلة وزنها لايزيد عن 15 جرام! (مثال تخيلي)!!

• بإفتراض أن حالتك المادية معقولة وتملك رفاهية البطاقة وحساب الشحن، يجب أن تتحلى بالصبر! فالغرض الذي يفترض أن يصل في يومين سيصل في شهر! (مع أنه عن طريق الشحن الجوي) وعليك الإستماع لكل أنواع الأعذار المملة والمحبطة!
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
• وفي النهاية وعند وصول الغرض المصون يجب عليك الذهاب لمقر الشركة وتسلمه من أيديهم! لا أن يصل الى عنوانك أو صندوق بريدك مثلا لاسمح الله!

أو يمكنك الشراء عن طريق وسيط ودفع عمولة والإنتظار حتى يصل دورك ويصل الغرض المصون، وهذا إنتظار مضاعف لأن الغرض الذي كان يأخذ أسبوعا الأن يأخذ أربعة أسابيع! والدفع مقدما!! ومجددا الذهاب وتسلمه من أيديهم! مع العلم أن البعض يوفر خدمة التوصيل للمنزل!

لن أتحدث عن المصارف وبطاقات إئتمانها لأن مستوى الحموضة قد يزيد لدي بشكل كبير وأضطر لشراء دواء عبر موقع الأمازون!! (تذكرت حارس مصرف الأمان الذي يسأل العملاء عند الباب: “شن تبي")!!

تجربتي الوحيدة الشخصية كانت لشراء كود برنامج لعمل مشروع التخرج، وإضطررت لإرسال الأموال في رسالة بريد، وإنتظار حتى تصل لإرسال كود التفعيل (شهران فقط لاغير!!) - ولا يتوفر بالتورنت كذلك!!-

الى متى سنظل متخلفين عن ركب الأمم؟ نحن لانستطيع شراء شيء عن طريق الإنترنت، فما بالك ببيعه! ربما لدينا بعض المنتجات نريد أن نبيعها عن طريق الإنترنت ولكننا نعجز عن إيصال منتوجاتنا بسبب هذه العراقيل!!

هل يعقل أنه في العقد الثاني من القرن الحادي والعشرين، أن نوصي من يسافر أن يأتي بأغراضنا، وكأننا في 
حقبة الحصار؟ ثلاثين سنة الخلف!!!

الإخوة القراء، زملائي المدونين!

كأي إنسان طبيعي لدي قائمة أغراض تزيد أو تنقص أريد شراءها من الإنترنت، فهل من سبيل يحفظ ماء الوجه وبقية الشعرات التي في الرأس؟ أتمنى إقتراحات جادة، وشكرا على الإطلاع!

Acer Aspier A5 11 inch Windows 8 boot problem + fix so far

Hey you guys

You probably checked out the slick notebook by Acer. Acer Aspier A5 11 inch. It comes with neat features compared to price. Most notably a touch screen and Windows 8 OEM, sadly it has a fatal bug!!

 

As I searched the web ( including the Acer help ) I noticed a lot of people talking about it online and no one has a clear answer .. :(
What happens is: After a short while the computer refuses booting!!
No matter what you do, It won't boot!
Since it doesn't have a DVD-ROM there isn't a way for you to insert the disk to restore Windows !
Even if you were slick enough to use a USB drive. It's hopeless..
Any and all settings lead to nothing at all ..
So I was fiddling with it. Being an open source fanatic I decided to give my Linux live USB a go. I wasn't able to boot as well!!
My fix was really simple, all you need us the windows USB and the Ubuntu USB. I'll make a post on how to make bootable media next year ;) notice the  date ;)

1. Insert the Windows USB installer.
2. Go to advanced options and then to command prompt.
3. Insert the following command to disable hibernate ( I'll tell you why in a minute ) powercfg /h off then shutdown /s /t 0
4. After rebooting go to bios and change boot type from UEFI to Legacy. Save the changes and restart.
5. Make sure the Ubuntu flash is connected, boot from it.
6. Select try Ubuntu and in a minute you will get the desktop. Click the hard drives to gain access to your media and recover it.
7. The commands you entered from step two is to access the drive under Ubuntu, or else you will receive an error message saying you can't access the drives. Because windows 8 doesn't really shutdown, it hibernates to save boot time.

Also note that the BIOS moves very fast so make sure you press really fast too :D and if it doesn't work check the boot order from the f2 menu putting USB as the default boot device ..

This is how to recover the media. And frankly this is what I was asked to do on the Acer Aspire A5 11 inch. I hope it helps. And if I make any changes I'll post a new post referencing this one :)

Restoring Linux boot (Dual Boot Saga)

After I installed Windows. I have lost Linux in the boot menu, in fact there wasn't a boot menu at all!
As soon I boot the computer Windows would come up and take the boot from there?!




I wanted to have Windows, not for Windows to be all I have!!
I had to restore booting to Linux, not only I liked it so much, my data and programs were there (Windows can't "see" the Linux partition).
At first I tried installing BCD Boot to create a boot menu, it failed on a daily biases for me!
I had to try a better solution, and what better solution that the Linux terminal? <3 br="">I booted to Linux from a live disk (you can create one by following the steps in here).
After it boots go into the terminal and enter the following command:

sudo fdisk -l

This command will show you all the partitions on your HDD, you have to know which partition your Linux distro is installed on (Gparted can be a great help in that).

and enter this command:

sudo mount /dev/sda1 /mnt

then this command:

sudo mount --bind /dev /mnt/dev

then this command

sudo chroot /mnt

then this command

grub-install /dev/sda 

then this command

update-grub 

If the computer boots directly into Ubuntu (or whatever Linux distro you have)
go to the terminal and enter:

sudo update-grub  

Finally reboot and you will have the grub menu with Both Linux and Windows! 

The purpose of these commands is to install Grub (The boot manager) so you can dual boot easily from the menu. 
If you want to customize grub for example the names of the systems and the list order you need to download Grub Customizer. I think I'll post about it sometime later :)

بالفيديو: الهاكر المتخصص في كسر قفل الآيفون و البلايستيشن يتجه لتحدي جديد !

يبدو أن الهاكر الأمريكي الشهير "جورج هولتز" و المعروف بلقب "GeoHot" سيكون قريبا أمام تحدي جديد سيجعله في مواجهة كبريات شركات العالم الرقمي من جديد بعد أن اعتاد على التحديات خصوصا مع سوني و آبل.

و كان الهاكر الأمريكي GeoHot معروفا منذ سن 17 على وجه الخصوص بسبب كونه من أوائل من قاموا بكسر قفل "جيلبريك" هوتف آبل آيفون بالإضافة إلى قرصنة نظام منصة الألعاب الخاصة بالشركة اليابانية سوني "بلايستيشن 3" ما جعله يدخل في مشاكل قانونية مع الشركة، لكن يبدو أنه وجد مجالا آخر ليبدع فيه ما سيجعله في منافسة من جديد مع كبريات شركات العالم الرقمي.

و نقلا عن وكالة الأنباء الأمريكية "بلومبرغ" فإن الهاكر GeoHot سيركز حاليا على الدخول لمجال السيارات الذكية، حيث يعتزم تطوير سيارة ذكية خاصة بمميزات ممتازة و بتكلفة أقل مما ستعتزم باقي الشركات اقتراحه، و هو مما لا شك لن ينال رضى هذه الشركات و على رأسها جوجل بسيارتها الذكية "Google Car".

و لهذا الغرض قام الهاكر GeoHot بتطوير نموذج أولي من سيارته الذكية على أساس على أساس سيارة "Acura ILX" حيث قام بتزويدها بعدد من المستشعرات و الكاميرات بالإضافة إلى ليدار من أجل تحديد المدى عن طريق الليزر فيما قام بتزويد السيارة من الداخل بجهاز حاسوب لتحليل المعطيات القادمة من المستشعرات بدقة بالغة.

و يبدو أن الشركات المنافسة ك جوجل و تيسلا أو حتى آبل التي أشارت مصادر أنها قريبة من دخول غمار هذا المجال ستشعر بالمنافسة المباشرة إلا أن GeoHot أبدى استعداده للتعاون مع جميع المتدخلين في مجال صناعة السيارات الذكية.

جدل حول «شمس على نوافذ مغلقة».. «الهيئة» تتبرأ.. ومطاوع يرد - اخبار الوسط

اندلعت موجة من الجدل في الوسط الثقافي في ليبيا وكذا عبر شبكات التواصل الاجتماعي، حول كتاب «شمس على نوافذ مغلقة»، والذي يضم مجموعة نصوص لعدد من الكتاب الشباب، وتداول البعض أجزاء من مقطعين من رواية «كاشان» لأحمد البخاري، وهما من ضمن ما نشر بالكتاب بدعوى أن هذا المحتوى «لا يتفق مع القيم والذوق» في البلاد.

ولم يتوقف الأمر عند حد الجدل بل تطور لدرجة إصدار البيانات ثم تعقيبات على هذه البيانات.

وأصدرت الهيئة العامة للثقافة بيانًا، الثلاثاء، نفت فيه أية علاقة لها بإصدار الكتاب، وقالت الهيئة في بيانها إنها فوجئت بالكتاب «مثلما فوجئ به الوسط الثقافي والأدبي»، وإنه لا علاقة لها بمؤلفي ومعدي هذا الكتاب الذي «تضمن في صفحاته نصوصًا فاضحة وخادشة للحياء لا تعبر عن ثقافة الشارع الليبي، وإنما تشوهه وتظهره في أبشع صورة».

ودانت الهيئة ما أسمته «محاولات تقديم نموذج سيئ عن الثقافة والأدب في ليبيا بمثل هذه المنشورات الرخيصة، التي استغلت حرية التعبير وحالة الانفلات الراهنة للعمل على إفساد الحياة العامة والتعدي على قيمنا وانتهاك الذوق العام».

وطالبت الهيئة كل المراكز الثقافية ودور النشر والمكتبات العامة والخاصة بعدم تداول الكتاب «لما فيه من خطر على بلادنا وأبناء شعبنا الكريم»، وفق البيان. وفي المقابل نشر محرر الكتاب خالد مطاوع عبر صفحته في «فيسبوك» رده على البيان، موجهًا إلى رئيس الهيئة العامة للثقافة.

وجاء في الرد: «وافتني أخبار بردود أفعال سلبية على الإنترنت تخص كتاب (شمس على نوافذ مغلقة: مختارات من أعمال الأدباء الليبيين الشباب)، الذي قمت بتحريره وإصداره والذي شارك فيه عديد الأدباء الشباب الليبيين، كما قرأت بيانكم بخصوص كتابنا... ومع احترامي وتحفظي الشديد لموقفكم نحو الكتاب، أود أن أخطركم: أولاً، بأن النص الذي تواردت حوله الانتقادات هو عبارة عن مقطعين من رواية (كاشان) لأحمد البخاري التي سبق أن نشرت في طرابلس العام 2012: رقم الإيداع 2012/429. ردمك: .ISBN 978-9959-812-73-5 - أي أن هذا النص بالذات مر على أجهزة الدولة الرقابية، وسبق أن أعطى له تصريح بالنشر».

وتابع: «أريد أن أنوه أنني كمحرر للكتاب مسؤول عن اختيار محتوى الكتاب، وأن الشباب المشاركين فيه لم يكن لهم أي دور في اختيار أو تجميع محتواه أو أي علم بمشاركات الأدباء الآخرين».

وتعقيبًا قالت الشاعرة رحاب شنيب لـ«بوابة الوسط»: «للأسف ما يوجد ببلادنا ليس نوافذ مغلقة بل عقول مغلقة، شعب لا يقرأ يحكم من سطر أو بعض سطور، لا علاقة له بالكتاب ويحاول أن يروج أن الثقافة تندرج تحت بند الحرام، وتستهويه أي حملة تشويه فيصبح كالببغاء يردد دون أن يراقب عواقب كلماته، شعب يكره العلم ويكره الفكر غير قادر على فتح آفاق لمداركه وتقبل النقاش والحوار.

وقالت إنه «على الجميع أن يدرك أن القراء الشباب والكتاب الشباب هم بذرة أمل من أجل أن نخرج من نفقنا المظلم، فنحن بحاجة إلى جيل واعٍ، جيل يتعاطى الفكر ويستهويه العلم. فهؤلاء الشباب لم يخطفوا ولم يشهروا السلاح في وجه أحد ولم يهددوا ولم يتعاطوا ولم ينشروا الكره والبغضاء».وتابعت شنيب قائلة: «أراهن أن كل من شن الحملة لم يقرأ الكتاب، بل هو لا يقرأ أصلاً وتعد علاقته بالكتاب علاقة منهجية جافة، إن كان ذا تحصيل علمي... لماذا تمتلكون مشكلة مع اﻵخر؟ لماذا تستهوون القذف والشتيمة؟ لماذا لم يكن عندكم إلا التكفير واللمز باﻷلقاب؟ استغرب من قدرتكم الفائقة على الهجوم، من قدرتكم على كونكم اﻷنقياء الفضلاء دون غيركم، وتتصيدون اﻷخطاء بطريقة مقززة». وطالبت شنيب من منتقدي الكتاب بالقراءة والمناقشة وكتابة ردود منطقية عقلانية، ردود محترمة دون تشويه اﻵخرين».

وأشارت إلى أن البعض حاول أن ينتقص من القيمة اﻷدبية للكتاب، موضحة أن الكتاب الشباب في بداية مسيرتهم وأنهم بحاجة إلى نقد بناء وفكرة الكتاب هي دعمهم.

وبلغ حدة النقد للكتاب إلى وصف بعض النشطاء على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي للكتاب بأنه جمع بين «الأدب وقلة الأدب»، وإن مكان الجزء المخل بالأخلاق الذي نُشر به، هو خانة كتب الدعارة وليس بين كتابات آخرين أفاضل، ولو كنت أحد هؤلاء الكتّاب الآخرين لما رضيت بهذه الإهانة ولرفعت قضية ضد دار النشر.

وكتاب «شمس على نوافذ مغلقة: مختارات من أعمال الأدباء الليبيين الشباب» هو مشروع مشترك بين مؤسسة أريتي للثقافة والفنون ودار دارف للنشر، وقام بتحريره كل من الشاعر خالد المطاوع والكاتبة ليلى نعيم المغربي. كما تضمن الكتاب مقدمة للكاتبة والباحثة فريدة المصري، ودراسة للروائي أحمد الفيتوري ومجموعة من الأعمال لشعراء وقصاصين وروائيين ليبيين شباب.

Hey dear readers
Today i will talk about archives, you know they are a good way to save disk space and protect your executables from virus infect,  there are many formats for archives, .ZIP, .RAR, .7Z


One of my favorites is 7z and i use 7zip to deal with it and all formats, but what if you become picky and decide to check for the smallest and most efficient file format for your space?
Here you have to use this freeware called arcconvert, will do the job for you in an easy to use interface, calculating the archive size and telling which one is the smallest to keep.

How to install and run GIMP Book on Gimp 2.8

GIMP Book is a script for managing multiple pages in the GIMP, it's great for creating comic books, illustrated books, sketch books or similar. It opens a separate window with thumbnails of all your pages, where you can add, delete, sort and rename them. Once you're done you can export your book to various formats, for web or print.

 To make this script work for gimp 2.8 all you have to do is to extract the .zip file and paste it to this directory :
"C:\Program Files\GIMP 2\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins" and run the program afterwards
To run the script go to Window > Book
Enjoy your comics :D & please refer to the manual in the zip archive :)

Have all your emails in one place using Mozilla Thunderbird

Hey you guys, am super excited to announce that i solved one of the major pet peeves in my life.
Every morning i wake up and open my internet to check my emails scattered across the web.
So i was looking for solution for this issue and tried everything but to no avail :/
Finally i got this super easy way to check all emails at once using Mozilla Thunderbird which is an open source mail client that will come in handy for this problem.
All you have to do is to download and install the software 



then do the following steps:

1. Click on create a new account.
2. In the box click skip this and use my existing email.
3. Enter your first name, Email, password, then click continue.
4. Wait for the program to load, then choose the protocol of the Incoming, outgoing, this is very important step.
5. If your email is Hotmail or Gmail go for POP3, If you are a Yahoo user select IMAP.
6. Click done and you will be taken back to the main menu of the program, with all the Inboxes you configured, i have 8 Emails: 3 Gmail, 3 Yahoo, and 1 hotmail all working with no problem.

 Of course you need to download  Mozilla Thunderbird, really small only 18.9 MB for Windows

OK and you are good to go, that's it!

Total Organizer 2.43 Review

Hey Guys :D
I feel this blog is gaining rep, with all the posts and views and stuff, so I want to share my IT experience with you guys, still on the topic of productivity.

Great Start Menu Launcher

Hello There , welcome to another techtip
Today we will be discussing the FSL Launcher , a Start menu type launcher that Displays your short cuts , files and other data in a tabbed dock .

My review of it is 4/5 , it's good , but can go better , for example some functions are limited only for the subscribers , but even the free version can be very handy .
I also noticed that it does not handle Program Files Shortcuts right away , in 64 bit you have two of them but the program only launched the ones installed in the same program files with it , in that case  program files (x86) , so you need to edit that shortcut manually , when it does not launch it freezes until you press the OK under the Icons , and the icon is displayed without the Picture .
That bug was on Windows 7 64 Bit

Installing mathmap in Gimp 2.8 under Windows 7

OK, lets get busy :
First download the install form here .
After that install the file , and change the directory from "C:\Users\your name\.gimp-2.6" to  "C:\Users\your name\.gimp-2.8"
 Run gimp as usual and then go to the menu filters > generic > mathmap
And here you go ..

Intstalling Gimp paint studio for gimp 2.8 on Windows 7

If you are using windows 7 then here is how you install gimp paint studio updated for gimp 2.8 

First of all download the file and extract it to the folder
C:\Users\"your user name goes here"\.gimp-2.8
replace any folders that need to be replaced, by default they are empty, but if you installed anything in them , be careful it will be lost.
Run gimp as you would normally do, if you succeeded it will look like this.

If u needed to convert an English text to Arabic, as it is typed not transulated, or you simply cannot read franco then this software is for you, four main shortcuts for you to remember, and you are good to go:
You need to highlight the text you want to process first :

Ctrl + F1 From English to Arabic
Ctrl + F2 From Arabic to English
Ctrl + F3 From Franco to Arabic
Ctrl + F4 Syntax Correction (just like in MS Word, but not related to it).
